We understand that everywhere she maps, she makes a difference. These mapping and data collection efforts, led by female emerging student leaders in the YouthMappers network, hold the potential to benefit millions around the world by making available critical, mapping data relevant to half the world’s population, on the largest free and open digital map of the world, OpenStreetMap.
Everywhere She Maps is an activity supported by the Gender Equity and Equality Action Fund conducted by and for YouthMappers which is sponsored by the GeoCenter of the United States Agency for International Development. We expand three core, interlocked activities that are proving successful in the current YouthMappers program:

-
Mapping and geospatial data activities that invest in women and girls’ security, livelihoods, access, prosperity, and participation in innovation and economic capacity
-
Regional Ambassadors who focus on building local capacity of the female mapping community
We work to empower students, host country governments, and our partners to achieve locally-sustained results, helping countries mobilize public and private revenues, strengthening local capacities, and accelerating enterprise-driven development ... everywhere she maps.
