Bonjour je m’appelle IBARA Berland, je suis le président de l’association YouthMappers de l’Université Denis SASSOU NGUESSO. Je viens par ce blog vous partager notre toute première activé entant que chapitre YouthMappers.
Le 9 Décembre 2021, s’est tenu dans l’enceinte de l’Université Denis SASSOU NGUESSO une réception des nouveaux étudiants, au titre de l’année 2021- 2022.
A cet effet plusieurs activités ont été organisées dont la présentation de la dite Université et des associations qui la compose. YouthMappers de l’Université Denis SASSOU NGUESSO (YM-UDSN) étant un chapitre de cette Université, a été convié à cette cérémonie.
Nous étions sur un stand de trois personnes, le Président, le Vice-président et la Chargée Administrative pour présenter notre association et faire intéresser les nouveaux étudiants, à la Cartographie collaborative et encourager les femmes ànous rejoindre.
La présentation de ce chapitre s’est faite en trois parties.
En entrée nous avons parlé de l’Origine et du contexe de création du chapitre. L’idée de sa creation remonte au 24 juin 2021 et il est entré en vigueur le 13 Août 2021.
Les nouveaux étudiants etaient tous impatients de connaître ce que nous faisons et les opportunités qu’ils pourraient avoir en integrant ce chapitre. Alors nous sommes rapidement entrer dans le vif du sujet. Prenant la parole le vice président du chapitre M. THIERRY-NGOUAMA a bien detaillé nos activités. La dernière intervenante était la Chargée Administrative du chapitre Mme. MONDZALI MARTY-MIREILLE pour parler des Opportunités que les YouthMappers offrent. Mais aussi pour qu’elle serve d’exemple afin que d’autres femmes nous rejoignent.
En somme, l’activité a été un succès, plusieurs étudiants ce sont dit prêt à nous rejoindre et à travailler avec nous.

On December 9, 2021, a reception for new students was held at the Université Denis Sassou Nguesso for the year 2021-2022.
At this event, several activities were organized including the presentation of the University and the associations that compose it. YouthMappers of Denis SASSOU NGUESSO University (YM-UDSN) being a chapter at this university, was invited to this ceremony.
We had a booth with three people, the President, the Vice-president and the Administrative Officer to present our association and get new students interested in collaborative mapping and encourage women to join us.
The presentation of this chapter was done in three parts.
At the beginning of the presentation, we talked about the origin and the creation of the chapter. The idea of its creation dates back to June 24, 2021 and it came into effect on August 13, 2021.
The new students were all eager to learn about what we do and the opportunities they could have by joining this chapter. So we quickly got down to business. Taking the floor, the chapter's vice president Mr. Thierry-Ngouama gave us a good overview of our activities. The last speaker was the Administrative Officer of the chapter Mrs. Mondzali Marty-Mireille to talk about the opportunities that YouthMappers offers. But also to serve as an example for other women to join us.
All in all, the activity was a success, many students said they were willing to join us and work with us.
